Tree Inventory and Landscape Plan

Stefan Bolliger Associates Inc. was retained to complete a detailed tree inventory and assessment for a development application within the Town of New Tecumseth. The Site Plan incorporated a new 3-storey brick and frame work/live building containing 6 one-bedroom apartments and a commercial space in the lower level. The intent of the inventory and preservation plan was to retain as many existing trees as reasonable and minimize the impact of construction. The final arborist report included details on the location, size, health of trees, potential for survival and recommendations for retention and removal. Tree replacement values were calculated based on the Council of Landscape and Tree Appraisers Best Management Practices and as per Town Standards. Replacement trees were incorporated into the landscape plan where appropriate.
