Stefan Bolliger Associates managed a design team to develop a Waterfront Improvement Master Plan for the Owen Sound Harbour area, which covered a 16 kilometre waterfront. Based on public input, site inventory and site analysis, a number of recommendations and design strategies were developed to create a more attractive local recreation and tourism environment. A development program including budgeting and phasing, assistance with funding and detailed master planning was created. Several potential park spaces, urban waterfront edges and harbour areas were identified for early attention. Based on previously prepared budgets Phases I and II were implemented.
