Orangeville Downtown

Broadway, the Main Street of Orangeville, required renovation to attract visitors and new businesses in a changing commercial environment. New pavement, widened sidewalks, street furniture reflective of the cast iron era gives the Main Street its special character. A very large central median transformed into a parkette with interpretative elements and a dominant clock tower have made this small downtown into a lively tourist space. Small restaurants, craft stores and traditional businesses are thriving in this upgraded streetscape.
