Inglis Falls Road Reconstruction

Township of Georgian Bluffs

Our office was retained by GM BluePlan Engineering Limited to provide landscape architectural and visual impact assessment services for the reconstruction of Inglis Falls Road in the Township of Georgian Bluffs. Our work included a visual impact assessment report to Niagara Escarpment Commission guidelines including horizontal line-of-sight cross sections, photographic simulations of mitigation measures and viewshed analyses. Following this report our office also completed a rehabilitative planting plan to reintegrate the project site seamlessly back into the ecological matrix of the Niagara Escarpment. During construction, we were involved in endangered species monitoring and construction administration services with numerous site inspections and construction progress reports throughout the process.
