Champlain-Wendat Park

Penetanguishene, Ontario

To celebrate the 400th anniversary of Samuel de Champlain’s arrival in Penetanguishene, our firm was commissioned to design a park that featured the French, Wendat, Metis and British cultures. The park design would feature significant elements of these cultures in an interpretative tapestry of images and artifacts. Design features included trail systems, interpretative signage, monuments and naturalized plantings.
